RETAIL PRICING

Retail pricing is left to the discretion of individual proprietor and may reflect a price point higher than the listed retail price, however we ask that you do not undercut our current retail pricing with the exception of short term sales events or clearancing of items you do not intend to repurchase. We recognize that many shops will need to charge more than our retail pricing due to their overhead and costs, but we also ask that you honor the spirit of our commitment to affordable pricing in how you determine your price. We work very hard to keep our collection affordable because we want customers to enjoy the benefits of high quality at a price point they can manage, and price gouging ultimately undermines that core mission. 

MINIMUM PURCHASES / PURCHASING GUIDELINES

The minimum purchase requirement is 20 for any given order, but may be mixed and matched between any of the styles and sizes. Our wholesale site is set up in such a way that it will not allow you to check out without meeting the required minimums. We strongly recommend the purchasing of a variety of sizes in a given clothing item, and are happy to advise on the most commonly purchased sizes. Please note that some smaller items come in packs, and that each pack counts as a single item toward your total quantity purchase. We encourage shops to consider shipping when making decisions regarding the size of orders. While smaller orders can be ideal for shops with a small footprint, higher quantity orders can save shipping costs over time.

We recognize that a shop owner may occasionally purchase a single sample of a garment, however we ask that account holders refrain from excessive personal purchasing. We reserve the right to terminate an account due to misuse at our discretion. We keep our wholesale minimums low so that shops can test the waters with new items without a large amount of risk, and kindly request that shops show reciprocal thoughtfulness in following the guidelines for purchase.  

AVAILABILITY/BACKORDER

We do our best to update our site to reflect current stock availability, but there may be rare situation in which an order cannot be filled immediately due a hiccup in ordering such as an unexpectedly delayed supply shipment. In this case, we will contact you right away to let you know what items are unavailable, provide you with an ETA if we have one, and arrange for either a backorder, substitution, or refund for the items in question.

 SHIPPING

Please allow up to 1-2 weeks for production of your items prior to shipment. We work very hard to get orders out as quickly as possible (and they will often ship faster than the above listed time), but please bear in mind that there may be other wholesale orders ahead of your’s in the queue (particularly around the holidays and other peak retail times). Consider ordering when you are running low as opposed to completely out of stock, and plan accordingly for the busy months. If you run out of stock midway through December, we may not be able to rush order extra stock for your holiday shoppers (although we will do our best). If you have any special request, please email us prior to placing an order so that we can confirm that we will be able to meet your needs.

We encourage anyone with shipping problems (i.e. slow package, tracking that fails to update etc.) to contact the carrier service directly first. They will be better able to answer any questions you may have than we will. If any part of the process is confusing or the local office seems to be unhelpful we are happy to assist you in working with the third party toward a resolution.

PROMOTIONAL MATERIALS

Promotional materials (stickers and postcards) will be included automatically with your first order at no charge to you. With future orders, they remain free of charge, but will only be included at your request.

The media kit section of our site is a great place to look for regularly updated photos to post on social media or to print out and use in-store. Please follow any tagging or photo credit guidelines for particular visuals when posting to social media, they will be listed in the caption of the photo if needed.

FIT

The Unisex cut has a straight fit and sleeves that come to the mid-bicep. The women's sizes run significantly smaller than the Men's/Unisex sizes. Size charts and individual photos may be accessed on each listing, please feel free to use both at your discretion.

SALES STIPULATIONS

Wholesale purchases may be sold in the previously agreed upon retail location and in your business's online store. You may also take items to physical events and fairs in which your shop is represented.

Most of our items ship with branded tags or packaging, stores may add their own branding but we ask that the Fennec branding remain intact and readable on all items.

Wholesale purchasing is a binding agreement, and we will not accept returns or refunds in the cases of: in store damage or loss, or in the case of customer mishandling of items resulting in damaged or shrunken clothing. If you believe you have received a misprinted or damaged item, contact us for instructions within one week of receipt. Stores who purchase wholesale take on the responsibility of sales and promotion in exchange for a larger cut of profit, as such we will not accept the return of unsold or unused items. If this is your first time placing an order with us or if you are looking for direction, we are happy to advise on the current top sellers in any given clothing category and can even give further advice based on the demographics of your store.

CLOTHING CARE

All of our items are printed in soft to the touch water-based inks which have been heat set for machine washability. Items come with a wide variety of fiber contents from cotton to spandex to blends, and as such different levels of care must be taken with any given item to avoid shrinking or damage. Familiarize yourself with the tags and fiber contents of a given item to best advise customers in the care and selection of their items. When in doubt, encourage customers to size up (particularly in the case of cotton where shrinking is possible or in high flex fabrics like spandex where over-stretching of the fiber can damage a print in the long term). As with all screen printed items we do not recommend ironing directly on top of a design. Please reach out if you have questions about care for a specific item.

SOCIALLY CONSCIOUS CLOTHING

All of the clothing in our shop is independently certified sweatshop free. Items that are made in the US are listed as such in the item specs. We strive to source our items in an ethical manner with an eye towards brands that are affordable and accessible to the most customers possible. All of our inks are water-based, non-toxic, and environmentally friendly. We believe in providing quality clothing, with an eye toward longevity and high quality of textile. We offer the full range of sizes on any given item, and whenever possible we carry plus size options (some items have a small size range, as soon as we have a suitable plus size option we offer it). All of the printing, illustration, and design is done in-house at our studio in Lemoyne, PA.

DISPLAY

Items from our shop come with branded tags. You may add your own tags but we ask that that our branding remain intact and readable.

We do not place any requirements on spaces as to how they display our items, however here are a few suggestions that we have found to be helpful both in our retail space and for many of our stockists. Clothing displayed on hangers moves faster than folded clothing. Velvet hangers work better for items with a wide neck. Excessive exposure to sun can cause fading to items long term. Storage of fabric items near strong smells like candles, bath and body, or incense can be an issue for smell sensitive customers, and should be avoided if space allows. If you offer try-on in your shop, bear in mind that some customers may leave deodorant or lotion residue which can be a turn off to a future customer. We have found that deodorant removing sponges (these can be purchased from a number of retailers online) work really well for quick touch ups. We also recommend keeping a lint roller on hand for occasional clean ups of any fuzz, dust, hair, or fibers.
